[Casey]♥ asked:

Do you have any broken bones right now? What’s the story?

I have two broken bones right now…my wrist and a bone in my forearm. Story is, is that…well it was halloween night, we were all pretty intoxicated and well…my friend and I were horsing around and it was almost like we were playing mercy cause he was facing me and our hands were together like that and our arms were locked out in front of us and he pushed me up against the wall and snap went both my wrist and arm. It hurt but I just brushed it off cause I was drunk…and I just thought nothing of it. Well, later on that night I played darts, did some drunken boxing with a punching bag, played baseball and golf on wii, and did a lot of other stuff. Then I went home and passed out. Well, I slept the whole night on my arm..not knowing the bones were broken and when I woke up I tried to lift myself out of bed instead of rolling over and getting up that way and thats when I realized that something was really wrong…

Pretty much my whole arm is casted, which makes it so uncomfortable and it makes it hard to sleep (as to why I’m awake right now at 4:50 am).

I never broke a bone until after I turned 21…..I’m 22 now and have broken my foot, my wrist arm, and my collar bone. I was drunk when I broke my foot too, fell off a curb lol. And when I broke my collar bone, I was stepping out of my ex’s truck (sober) and it was icy outside and as soon as my foot touched the ground I slipped and yeah…

So, please tell me your stories!!! =)

Thanks!

I have broke a few bones in my time, my most major story almost cost me my life.

This year in March me and a few buddies were fell running (running up mountains) on Ben Nevis and after i got halfway up there my ankle gave in and i fell to the floor and cracked my head on a rock. I then proceeded to slide down and fell off this little rockf ace and fell about 20ft on my side and hit my leg on a huge boulder, by this time i was knocked out which helped.

woke up in hospital 2 days later with 2 broken ribs, broken arm and a shattered leg. I finally came out of hospital in June since i had to have surgery on my leg to make it mend right. but the doctor said my broken rib came close to piecing a lung or in worse case my heart

I broke my right arm twice:
first time: I was like 6 and I was playing on some monkey bars at school when I got to the top I decided that I’d show out and jump from the top, I did and I was out of school the rest of the year. Broke my arm in 4 different locations.

second time: I was sixteen was about to break curfew it was raining and I was speeding when I rounded a bend in the road there was a little cat in the middle of the road I tried to miss it, with the bend, rain and speeding it didn’t go well I turned my sisters car over: I dislocated my right shoulder, the bone in my right arm was sticking out, I had to get stitches in my forehead. I was actually very lucky according to the highway patrol and other first responders. plus side of the story the cat was fine.

I know how you feel about the cast mine was also all the way up my arm with only the tips of my fingers sticking out, wait to they cut it off, it’s going to stink and your elbow is going to be stiff when you try to stretch it out. You better get you a wire clothes hanger and go ahead and unwrap it because you’re going to need it to scratch your arm.

Not right now, but when I was one year old, my parents had taken me to my cousin’s place to invite him and his parents to my first birthday party. And I fell off the couch and ended up with a fractured right arm for my first birthday

I had never broken a bone up until 8 years ago. I broke 5 different bones at once.

I was up with some friends hiking up a ski resort right after the lifts had closed so that we could ski down. We decided to go outside of the resort boundaries once we got to the top and headed even further up into a part of the mountain that doesn’t have runs even when the resort is open. So it was a pretty dangerous area that we ended up skiing down…. after having 4 or 5 shots of whiskey and smoking some pot. Unfortunately for me I was too buzzed from the whiskey and I took the wrong route down the mountain.

Ended up going off a small cliff at about 40mph and hit a big old tree with my foot first then with my body and my face. The impact on my foot was really bad. It broke my heel bone into 7 pieces and a large part of my ankle was completely destroyed and had to be rebuilt with metal plates and screws and pins holding bone they cut from my pelvic bone to replace the smashed ankle bone. I also broke a couple of ribs, fractured my cheek bone, and broke my nose up real bad (it got ripped too and half of one of my nostrils was hanging off).

Since the mountain was closed for the year the only way to get down was to be pulled off by my friends. It took about 3 hours to get down to the base of the mountain and another hour to get to a hospital. I bled enoug to totally soak my friends white shirt and turn it red from all of the lacerations to my face.

Suffice to say that I do not ski drunk any more.

Sorry to hear about your broken bones. Hope they heal fast.

Nope…never. This is really quite surprising, both for me, my family, and my friends. I’ve always been adventurous and when I was younger, my friend Matt and I would always go check out some place that was probably dangerous, but we risked it anyway.

One time, we were on these old train tracks that weren’t used anymore. The tracks had a bridge that ran over the town creek. It was shallow under there. Well, Matt and I were just goofing around. We’d find a bunch of old junk that people threw out…tires, license plates, etc. Matt found an old bike inner tube and threw it up underneath the bridge. The inner tube got snagged on a piece of the wood. He then dared me to hang down and get it. So, the adventurous and type I was, I did. I was hanging there with my feet wrapped around a piece of wood and one hand clinging to the same piece. As I reached out to grab the inner tube, the wood I was holding onto gave. I plummeted down into the shallow bed. When I landed, I got the wind knocked out of me, so I just lied there for a few minutes. Matt was wondering if I was okay. When I could breath normally again, I got up and we started laughing. Amazingly, I hadn’t broken anything. I was just kinda wet and my back hurt.
